Shoof (shoof-yt.com) lets you watch YouTube videos in the Tesla in-car browser.

Data we collect

• Google account email (sign-in): used solely to match your paid subscription and activate your account. We access no other account data.
• YouTube subscriptions list (optional): if you tap "Import from YouTube", we read your channel list (read-only) to display it in the app.
• YouTube session cookies (optional): if you upload a cookies file for watch history, it is stored with restricted permissions and used only to fetch your history and subscriptions feed. Deletable anytime.
• In-app activity: what you watched through Shoof and your send-to-car queue, to power resume and history features.
• Technical logs: pseudonymous identifiers (no raw IP addresses) for streaming quality and usage limits.

Google user data

Shoof's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never transferred except as necessary to provide the user-facing features described here.

Payments

Payments are processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record). We never see or store your card details.

Deletion

Delete your cookies file in the app, or email support@shoof-yt.com to erase your account and all data within 30 days.

YouTube

Shoof uses YouTube API Services. By using Shoof you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
